WHAT’S NEEDED FOR CORPORATE VIDEO PRODUCTION?

1. Concept and storyboard

No matter how simple, producing a video always starts with developing a concept. This can be done by using a reference video example (perhaps from a competitor, or some other corporate videos that you have seen), or by developing an original concept. Sharing a reference video or your concept notes with your corporate videographer will help us determine feasibility and production costs.

2. Talking heads or voice-over?

For an engaging video, it’s often required that someone speaks on camera, or for a voice-over recording. This helps the audience stay involved, and allows for more content depth. If no one in your team is comfortable being filmed, we can help find a talented actor, or a voice over talent.

3. Script

If the person being filmed is camera trained, has worked with production companies before, and knows the content by heart, a few bullet point notes are enough. But if the person being recorded is not used to the camera, we encourage developing a refined script.We can do script development for you, but it’s necessary for us to get to know your business very well. Most of the time, our clients develop their own script and we help refine it from a videography perspective.

4. Video production day/s

If a good level of planning has taken place, on production day your corporate videographer and your team will have a good understanding of what’s happening. We will prepare a detailed shot list of everything that needs to be captured and we will have an hourly production schedule to follow, previously shared with you and mutually agreed upon.

5. Video edit and post production

A first draft of the edited corporate video is shared with you within 3 weeks from production day. During post production, we might get in touch with you for some important details such as: choice of music, lower thirds and graphics, company logos etc. You can review the video edit draft over a secured web link, so you can share your thoughts and let us know of any revisions needed.

6. Final delivery

Your final high definition video is delivered to you via weblink, and you can also request to receive the entire raw file collection, in case you want to do some in-house editing in the future. We also include the delivery of the same video in different formats if required (for example: with or without subtitles, landscape format, square format for social media etc.)
