VIDEO PRODUCTION NOTES
Vanessa and Matt got in touch with us after a friend’s wedding they attended, and after seeing the video we made for that wedding in Sydney.
Needless to say, we were super excited to be part of their wedding event too, and super proud that their friend’s video caught their attention to the extent that they reached out without hesitation.
The wedding was booked with great advance, and no one could have predicted that in 2020 the situation could have become as complicated as we now know it.
As with all the wedding events after march 2020, Covid 19 played a big part of this wedding too, but the couple handled it with true grace, making it happen without a problem. We especially appreciated that leading to the event, Vanessa and Matt were super helpful and clear in keeping us up to date in communicating changes and arrangements.
For this wedding, one of our two videographers started at the Groom’s and boys room, in the Meriton’s building in Kent Street, while the other was filming the Bride’s preparation at the Ovolo.
The two met at Ovolo for their first glance shoot, where we took some shots of Matt’s first reaction to his beautiful Bride’s dress. We then continued to the Botanic Garden with the bridal party for photos and videos.
After that, Vanessa and Matt had some time to relax while we were busy preparing for the ceremony. For this, we set up 3 cameras and audio recording.
The ceremony was an intimate celebration among socially distanced family and friends, followed by some refreshments at the bar at Ovolo.
Just before sunset, we followed Matt and Vanessa to the Observatory Hill Lookout, where we took beautiful shots of the married couple with city background during the golden hour.
Vanessa and Matt received 3 edited videos for their wedding: we edited the Instagram teaser and passed it on to the couple within 2 weeks from their wedding day, and they then received their Cinematic Highlights and Full Day Movie shortly after.
Here’s the Insta Teaser of Vanessa and Matt.
