Producing effective training videos for healthcare and aged care environments requires a balance of clarity, realism, and professionalism. In this project, we partnered with Guide Healthcare to create a comprehensive series of training videos designed to support staff working across aged care and healthcare settings.
This production resulted in 25 individual training videos, each focused on practical, real-world scenarios and best practices. The video above shows a compilation of some of the final videos.

Project Overview
Guide Healthcare approached us to produce a suite of training videos that would clearly demonstrate essential care procedures. The goal was to create content that is not only informative, but also easy to follow, visually clear, and aligned with real working environments.
To achieve this, we planned a production that prioritised:
Realistic scenarios in authentic environments
Clear visual communication of physical actions
Consistency across a large volume of outputs
A scalable production workflow to efficiently deliver multiple videos
Filming Across Multiple Locations in Sydney
The production took place over two full days of filming in Sydney, across a variety of locations including:
Aged care facility rooms
Indoor controlled environments
Outdoor settings for mobility and transport scenarios
Each location was selected to reflect real-life working conditions, ensuring the training videos feel practical and directly applicable to staff in the field.
Scenarios Covered
The videos focused on a wide range of essential care procedures, including:
Assisting individuals with different levels of mobility
Safe transfer techniques (bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to car, etc.)
Fall management and response
Use of mobility aids and equipment
Coordinated care involving multiple staff members
These scenarios were designed to reflect everyday challenges faced by aged care and healthcare professionals.
Production Setup and Approach
The production involved a collaborative and efficient setup:
Guide Healthcare team (3 people) overseeing content and accuracy
On-screen talent representing realistic care scenarios
Props and equipment to simulate real working conditions
A clear shooting schedule to maximise efficiency across two days
From a video production perspective, we focused on delivering high-quality, consistent footage across all scenarios.
Multi-Camera Filming for Clarity
To ensure that every action was clearly visible and easy to understand, we filmed using:
Single-camera setups for simpler scenarios
Two-camera setups for more complex actions
This multi-angle approach is particularly important in training content, where viewers need to clearly see:
Hand positioning
Body movement
Equipment usage
Interaction between staff and patients
The result is a much more effective learning experience compared to single-angle coverage.
Post-Production Workflow
Following the shoot, the project moved into post-production, where all footage was carefully organised and developed into 25 individual training videos.
Each video included:
Multi-angle editing for clarity and engagement
Voice over narration (recorded by Guide Healthcare with our guidance)
Background music to enhance pacing and flow
Custom branded graphics aligned with Guide Healthcare’s visual identity
We worked closely with the client throughout this stage to ensure:
Accuracy of the information presented
Consistency across all videos
Alignment with their internal training standards
Voice Over Collaboration
Rather than outsourcing voice over recording, Guide Healthcare chose to record their own narration. We provided guidance on:
Recording setup and quality
Delivery style and pacing
Structuring the voice over to match the visuals
This approach allowed them to maintain full control over tone and messaging, while still achieving a professional result.
Delivering 25 Training Videos
The scale of this project required a structured and consistent workflow. Over the course of several months, we:
Edited and refined each video
Incorporated client feedback
Ensured consistency across all outputs
Delivered final approved versions ready for use
The end result is a comprehensive training library that can be used across multiple healthcare and aged care environments.
The Outcome
This project demonstrates how well-planned video production can transform complex, hands-on procedures into clear and accessible training content.
By combining:
Realistic scenarios
Multi-angle filming
Structured editing
Branded visuals
…we created a series of videos that support staff training, improve understanding, and promote best practices in care.
