As a videographer, there’s no greater joy than seeing the final product after all the hard work that went into filming an event.
Recently, we had the pleasure of working with the North Sydney Council for their Citizenship Ceremony held at the North Sydney Oval on September 17, 2022. Our task was to capture the ceremony in full and provide footage that would be used to create a highlights video that would later be posted on the official page of North Sydney Council Citizenship Ceremonies.
We deployed two videographers who captured the video and audio of the whole event. One of the videographers was responsible for filming the stage proceedings using two cameras, one for a wide-angle shot and another for a close-up shot. The other videographer was roaming around the event, capturing b-rolls of everything else happening in the ceremony. This approach allowed us to have a comprehensive coverage of the ceremony, ensuring that no moment was missed.
At the end of the event, we filmed some vox pops interviews of the people involved. This was a great way to capture the thoughts and feelings of the participants and their families about the event.
We are thrilled that our footage was used to create this cherished memory for the North Sydney Council and the new citizens. It’s always fulfilling to see your work come to life, especially when it’s for such an important event.
Working with the North Sydney Council for their Citizenship ceremony was a great experience for us. We’re proud of the work we did and the final product that was created. We’re grateful to have been part of this event, and we look forward to working with the council again in the future.
