Australian Citizenship Ceremony in North Sydney – 15 September 2023

The North Sydney Council required a video production team for their Australian Citizenship Ceremony held on the 15th of September 2024. We provided comprehensive video and audio coverage with three skilled videographers present throughout the event.

One videographer was responsible for capturing all stage proceedings, including speeches by the Mayor and other VIPs, as well as conducting vox pop interviews with attendees. The other two videographers were tasked with capturing various visuals, including shots of people attending, the location, interactions, and the overall atmosphere, including emotions and reactions.

Within two weeks of the event, North Sydney Council received a compelling highlights video. This video featured some of the best sound bites from speeches, vox pops, and high-quality b-roll footage. We focused on conveying the emotional journey of becoming an Australian citizen, believing it to be the core intention of the video.

To enhance the video further, we incorporated licensed music specifically chosen for the event. Additionally, live soundbites from the choir that performed during the ceremony were included, adding a personalised touch to the highlights video.
