We had the pleasure of partnering with OpenTable once again to create a series of videos for their 2023-2024 social media campaign.
OpenTable aimed to showcase a variety of social media formats to engage their audience, and we were excited to bring their vision to life.
The first video, “Ask a Restaurant Anything with Hochi Mama” (above) was designed specifically for Valentine’s Day. The idea was to create buzz around the event with playful and spicy content, featuring restaurant staff sharing their insights on what makes a great date night. It was a fun project to both shoot and edit, and the final product truly captures the vibe.
Next up, “Neighbourhood Gems,” a format designed to showcase hidden gems in various local areas. For this video, we filmed at Chotto Motto in Collingwood, VIC—a lively venue with loads of character. We interviewed the owners and captured the atmosphere on a busy night, focusing on the venue’s unique charm, the staff, the food, and the overall vibe.
The third format of this social media campaign, called “Iconic Dishes” focuses on a signature dish from a restaurant’s menu. This time, we filmed the MGX Burger at Bar Margaux. The shoot took place almost entirely in the kitchen, following the creation of the dish from start to finish. The footage was then transformed into an engaging social media edit, designed to highlight the artistry behind the dish.
