When launching a new product in the construction industry, clarity and impact are equally important. You need to generate interest in the product while also ensuring that installers understand exactly how to use it.
That was the objective behind this project, where we partnered with The Punch Agency to produce a series of videos for the launch of RES-EASE® Fixing Clips for Speed Deck Ultra®.
At the top of this page, you can watch the launch video, designed to introduce the product and create awareness. Below, you’ll also find the full installation video, created as a practical training resource for installers.
Project Overview
The client was preparing to bring a new product to market and required two distinct video assets:
A marketing / launch video to generate interest and support the product rollout
A detailed installation video to guide installers through the correct application process
Both videos needed to be consistent in style and branding, while serving very different purposes.
This is a common scenario in corporate video production: one video attracts attention, while the other delivers depth and practical value.
Pre-Production: Planning the Shoot
As with most successful video productions, this project started with a solid pre-production phase.
Working alongside The Punch Agency, we developed:
A clear production plan aligned with the product launch timeline
A detailed storyboard covering both the marketing and instructional content
A structured approach to filming that ensured we could capture everything needed within a single shoot day
This preparation was key to making the shoot efficient and ensuring we captured all required footage without delays.
Filming on Location
The videos were filmed in a warehouse training facility, where a technician demonstrated the installation of the product on a purpose-built structure.
This setup allowed us to:
Recreate a realistic installation environment
Maintain full control over lighting and filming conditions
Direct the installer throughout the process to ensure clarity on camera
During the shoot, we followed the storyboard closely, while also adapting in real time to capture additional angles and details that would enhance both videos.
From a production perspective, this was a full-day shoot, carefully planned to maximise output and efficiency.
Launch Video: Creating Awareness
The launch video (featured above) was designed to introduce the product and generate interest within the industry.
The focus here was on:
Clean, professional visuals
Clear messaging around the product’s purpose and benefits
A polished edit that aligns with the client’s branding
This type of video plays a key role in marketing campaigns, helping businesses communicate new products quickly and effectively across digital channels.
Installation Video: Practical Training Content
Alongside the launch video, we produced a step-by-step installation video aimed at installers.
This video required a different approach, focusing on:
Clarity over style
Logical sequencing of each step
Close-up shots and angles that clearly show the process
The goal was to create a resource that installers can rely on, whether they are learning the product for the first time or referring back to it on site.
Voice Over & Post-Production
In post-production, we brought everything together to create two distinct outputs from the same shoot.
Our work included:
Video editing tailored to each video’s purpose
Voice over curation to ensure clear and professional delivery
Integration of branding elements across both videos
Multiple rounds of revisions to refine the final result
The final videos were delivered in time for the product launch, ready to be used across marketing channels and training materials.
The Value of Producing Multiple Videos from One Shoot
One of the key advantages of this project was the ability to produce multiple high-quality videos from a single shoot day.
This approach offers several benefits:
Cost efficiency – maximising the value of the production day
Content consistency – both videos share the same visual style and environment
Versatility – marketing and training needs are both covered
For many businesses, especially in industries like construction, this is one of the most effective ways to approach video production.

At Matt Callian Videography, we had the opportunity to produce a case study testimonial video for Inkling, a company that transforms workplace learning by making it more engaging, equitable, and evidence-driven. The video highlighted their partnership with Aurecon, a leading design, engineering and advisory firm operating across Asia Pacific.
This production was centred around capturing the impact of Inkling’s sponsorship and inclusion programme at Aurecon—highlighting both the personal stories behind the initiative and the broader outcomes it achieved in promoting diverse leadership and inclusive workplace culture.
