The marketing team at Herbs of Gold was looking to produce a series of videos specifically for Tik Tok and Instagram Reels: a Myth Busters type of content that answers some common questions around nutrition, health and wellbeing.
Three naturopaths from Herbs of Gold would answer these questions on camera, with the goal of capturing their candid answers along with some fun moments, for a friendly vibe and engaging video content.
After initial discussions, brief and strategy session, we opted for a sit down dual camera set-up, where the naturopath is at the centre of the attention. The questions would be read by the video producer, and the naturopath would give the answer.
The video recording took place in an office, during a quiet day, and went for roughly 5 hours, from setup to wrap-up. In this timeframe we were able to record all three interviewees (20 questions each), plus some additional content.
Since the client requested for a Tik Tok / Instagram video format, the content was then adapted to a vertical frame during editing.
We helped Herbs of Gold choose music backgrounds, animations and graphic elements, to make the videos look vibrant and fun, and we cut the interviews to make them as engaging as possible for social media.
We ended up making 3 final videos, mixing and matching the best questions, answers and fun moments from the interviews, and we also produced a short social media video titled “5 tips to boost your energy levels”.
