MAKOMESH Commercial

This commercial video has been produced by Matt Callian Videography for MAKOMESH, a Sydney based online manufacturer of mesh panels. The video aims to captivate prospective MAKOMESH’s clients and explain how an online manufacturer works.

The commercial has been used by MAKOMESH as part of their marketing campaign and distributed via their website (see MAKOMESH home page here) and as part of their direct email marketing campaign.

How we produced this video

1. First meeting – we met with the client for a brainstorming session, at this stage the client had already prepared a draft script for the video and was looking for a video production company to start developing production. During the meeting, we learned about MAKOMESH, its facility and its operation.
2. Script development – we helped the client develop and finalise the script.
3. Storyboard – Following the finalised script, we developed a storyboard, complete with location pictures and props.
4. Casting – we participated in the casting interviews organised by the client.
5. Production preparation – two days before the scheduled shooting day, we visited the location and prepared for all scenes, with a detailed analysis of each shot.
6. Shooting day – the shooting day started in the early morning, and for each shot, we had allocated one hour. By 6 pm, the production wrapped up and all shots were successfully taken.
7. Video edit – we edited the video and sent the first draft to the client for review within a couple of weeks, the client was thrilled with the result and asked for a few minor revisions.
8. Delivery – the final HD version of the video was sent to the client as soon as the final version was approved.
